As a graphic designer for INvestEd, I play a crucial role in shaping the materials that support our mission of helping Hoosier families navigate the path to higher education. I design and create a variety of visual content, including handouts, presentations, posters, digital ads and videos, all aimed at spreading INvestEd's message. My work is integral in making complex information accessible and engaging for students, families, and counselors.
One Pagers
Preparing for college can be overwhelming, so I was tasked with designing bilingual (English and Spanish) informational pages for Invested, aimed at supporting students pursuing higher education. These pages needed to be both visually appealing and easy to navigate, despite containing a large amount of crucial information like school search assistance, scholarship guidance, and FAFSA help. My goal was to create cohesive designs that effectively communicate this information while ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience.
Media Kit
The media kits consist of posters that showcase event details such as location, date, time, and event name. These posters were designed to be engaging yet simple, ensuring they are easy to edit and print, whether by our team or by schools and counselors outside of our office.
Loan Flyers
The loan flyers are based on a template I designed to ensure consistency across all loan options. Each flyer features distinct colors and images to differentiate between the various types of loans. Since these flyers are often displayed together, they needed to be cohesive while clearly highlighting the differences between the options.
Presentation Template
INvestEd delivers hundreds of presentations each year to students, counselors, and families about the higher education process. To keep audiences engaged, these presentations are designed to be visually appealing. Below is a section from one of the extensive slide decks I created, utilizing INvestEd's branding packages for themes, colors, and fonts.
Business Card Displays
Business card holders are essential for any organization. For INvestEd's recent information booth at the state fair, I designed a special card holder featuring the state fair midway arch. I also rebranded the standard card holders for team members to align with my recent designs for the company. These new holders are more organized and easily editable, allowing the team to update them as needed.
